Catwalk for Charity - Miami’s Fashion Scene's Charitable Cause Features Balmain Paris

The fashion industry is known for its glamour and extravagance, but it was heartening to see how it came together for a good cause. In the 9th Edition of Catwalk for Charity, the Miami fashion scene united to support underprivileged children from Miami, Haiti, and other developing countries.

Curated by Angels for Humanity, the event took place at the Perez Arts Museum Miami (PAMM) on October 22nd, 2023. The featured designer was none other than the luxury fashion brand Balmain Paris. The theme for the night was “Where Fashion Meets Philanthropy,” and it promised to be an evening of elegance and style.

Since its inception in 2006, Angels for Humanity has been committed to transforming the lives of underprivileged children through education and healthcare initiatives. Their unwavering dedication, led by founder Judith Joseph, had made a significant impact in Miami’s underserved communities and beyond.

This year, the charity event recognized and honored three outstanding philanthropists for their deep commitment to improving the lives of children. Tatiana and Camila Guiribitey were celebrated as Distinguished Humanitarians for their exceptional contributions to the community. The Marile & Jorge Luis Lopez Esq Family Foundation received the Philanthropists of the Year award in recognition of their dedicated philanthropic efforts. Regina Lynch Moskow was honored with the Angels of Compassion Award for her exemplary compassion and service to those in need.

The hosts for the event were none other than Terri Seymour and Louis Aguirre, two accomplished figures in the world of entertainment and philanthropy. Nadia Ferreira, wife of the renowned artist Marc Anthony, also made an appearance as the featured model and special guest.

At LO’AMMI, we were delighted to see the fashion industry come together to support a noble cause. We hoped that this event inspired more such initiatives, making the world a better place, one step at a time.
