WELCOMING THE SPRING SEASON WITH A GLOBAL FASHION AFFAIR IN SAN FRANCISCO
The award-winning Fashion Community Week celebrated its 16th season on March 9th to 11th, 2023, with a lineup of exciting events. The three-day fashion extravaganza featured a conference, an opening soirée, and a fashion show, featuring some of the most innovative designs and concepts in the fashion industry.
The Future of Fashion Conference, which took place on March 9th, featured three renowned speakers who shared their insights into the future of fashion. Connie Ulasewicz, co-founder of CBU Productions, emphasized the need to understand the social and environmental effects of our textile and clothing choices. Olia Kedik, the founder of Oliamoda, shared her journey from a style and fashion blogger to a conceptual shopping and styling platform. Oh Tepmongkol, co-founder of OHZONE, a 3D fashion tech startup, talked about her work as a Metaverse Fashion Tech Strategist and offered insights on Retail Tech.
The 16th season continued on March 10th with an opening soirée at the new private members chic club Modernist Exchange. Guests were treated to a luxurious and sophisticated atmosphere, complete with modern decor and a premium selection of curated cocktails designed by award winning mixologists. The evening offered attendees a unique opportunity to connect with fellow fashion enthusiasts and industry professionals from around the world, making it an excellent networking opportunity.
The highlight of the three-day event was the One-of-a-Kind Fashion Show, which took place on March 11th at the stunning Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel. The show was hosted by actor Jaymes Anthony, and musician Rosemarie Samaniego that provided the music for the event. Notably, Miss California, Catherine Liang, was among the attendees and walked as a runway model at the event, further emphasizing the show's appeal as a high-profile and diverse fashion event.

The show featured a diverse range of designs, including avant-garde, sustainable, and innovative fashion pieces that left the audience in awe. As a tribute to Women's History Month, the fashion show concluded with a Global Flag March to acknowledge women's role, accomplishments, history, gender equality and empowerment.
